U13, U15, U18 Elite Hockey
Is your daughter interested in Elite Female Hockey? Sherwood Park Kings Athletic Club runs Elite programs for U13, U15 and U18 for girls within the SPS Fuzion boundaries. For more information, please visit their
website. If your daughter will be trying out with the Kings this coming fall, you do not need to register with SPS Fuzion at this time. Should your daughter be released from the Kings tryouts, you will need to register for SPS Fuzion at that time. As long as you register with Kings by July 14th at 11:59PM, Fuzion will honour the early-bird rate.     

Critical Dates (all dates are subject to change)

June 15th - Registration Opens

August 1st - all payment cheques must be received by this date to qualify for early-bird pricing.
August 28th - Coaching applications close
September 2nd - Conditioning Camp begins
September 10th - Evaluations begin - specific age group dates and times will be posted in August
Late September (date TBA) - SPS Fuzion Coach/Manager Meeting
October 7th - expected season start

How to register:

All the documents mentioned below are also available during the registration process, but it will be much easier if you review the following information and complete the documents ahead of time.  All registrants must have created a Spordle account ahead of registering in order to obtain your Hockey Canada ID#.

RETURNING SPS FUZION PLAYERS:

  1. Access your Spordle Account and find your players' Hockey Canada ID#. Update your address and contact information if needed. Make sure all required certifications (such as Respect in Sport, Coaching Certifications, etc.) are still valid. Renew them if necessary. You need a valid Respect in Sport - Parent certificate number for registration.
  2. Gather proof of residency documents (e.g., driver's license, utility bill) showing your name and residential address within our boundary zones (SMHA; SPMHA).  Document should be recently dated.
  3. Complete the Medical Information Form (one form per participant).
  4. Begin the registration process by selecting one of the registration options below.

FOR NEW SPS FUZION PLAYERS 

  1. Obtain a certificate number proving completion of the Respect in Sport - Parent Program.
  2. Create a Hockey Canada Spordle Account (note: you do not register your player through Spordle).
  3. Link your participating member(s) and obtain their Hockey Canada ID#(s). If you face difficulties adding your player through Spordle, contact the Respect In Sport help line at 1-866-956-9791.
  4. Gather proof of residency documents (e.g., driver's license, utility bill) showing your name and residential address within our boundary zones (SMHA; SPMHA).  Document should be recently dated.
  5. Prepare age verification documents (birth certificate or passport) for uploading during the registration process.
  6. Complete the Medical Information Form (one form per participant).
  7. Begin the registration process by selecting one of the registration options below.

FOR PLAYERS TRANSFERRING FROM ANOTHER ASSOCIATION

Complete the following steps BEFORE starting the registration process:

  1. If you are moving into Sherwood Park, fill out the Hockey Alberta Parent Declaration Form (one form per participant).
    • Ensure that you include admin@spmha.ab.ca as email address for the "Minor Hockey Association Submission" field.
  2. If the player is looking to play in Sherwood Park without parents living within the boundaries, complete the Hockey Alberta Player Movement Form.
  3. Gather proof of residency documents (e.g., driver's license, utility bill) showing your name and residential address within our boundary zones (SMHA; SPMHA).  Document should be recently dated.
  4. If in doubt on the progress of your application, please contact admin@spmha.ab.ca to ensure proper documentation has been filed.

Once we receive the required information, we will initiate the player transfer. Players moving with parents can be processed after June 1st, while players moving without parents can be processed AFTER August 1st. We will contact you once your player account has been transferred, and you will then be eligible to register with Sherwood Park. At that point, you will need to:

  1. Access your Spordle Account to find your players' Hockey Canada ID#(s). Update your address and contact information if necessary.
  2. Ensure that all required certifications (Respect in Sport, Coaching Certifications, etc.) are still valid. Renew them if necessary.
  3. Complete the Medical Information Form (one form per participant).
  4. Provide the certificate number proving completion of the Respect in Sport - Parent Program.
  5. Prepare age verification documents (birth certificate or passport) for uploading during the registration process.
  6. Begin the registration process through TeamSnap.

NOTE:

  • All fees payable by credit card, cash, cheque or e-transfer (If paying by credit card, note that there is a 3.25% + $1.50 per transaction service charge. If paying by cash or cheque, must be mailed or dropped off at the SPMHA main office.)
  • If paying by cheque or credit card, you can choose to pay in four (4) equal installment payments.  (1st payment due upon registration, 2nd on July 15th, 3rd on August 15th, 4th on September 15th.  If paying by e-transfer or cash, all payments must be made in full)
