The Sherwood Park Steele is a trailblazer in female hockey and the founding organization of the Alberta Junior Female Hockey League (AJFHL). As one of Alberta’s premier all-female hockey programs, the Steele has played a pivotal role in creating opportunities for young women to continue competing at an elite level beyond minor hockey.

Designed for athletes aged 17–21, the Steele provides a place for young women to pursue their passion for hockey while balancing post-secondary education, careers, or both. The program offers a highly competitive environment that challenges players to excel on the ice while developing the discipline, leadership, and resilience needed for success off the ice.
