2025 Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is for grade 12, second or third year U18 players within SPS Fuzion, to assist
in the pursuit of post-secondary education. Winners will receive the award when proof of
acceptance into a post-secondary education is provided.

Award Value
The intention is to have this scholarship be awarded each year starting in 2022. Future boards
may approve the continuation of the scholarship beyond that date. Annually, up to two
scholarships of $500 may be awarded.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Have played a minimum of three years with SPS Fuzion Hockey Club
- Be enrolled in the SPS Fuzion program during the scholarship application period
- Be a second or third year U18 player
- Not have received the award previously

Scholarship requirements
The award recipient will demonstrate qualities of integrity, teamwork, and commitment to fair
play as well as being respectful. The recipient will be known as a player who continually tries
her hardest and is involved in volunteering within the community as a coach to female players.

Application Requirements
Applications must include:
- Letter of reference from former hockey coach
- Letter of reference from a current academic teacher
- Letter of reference of community volunteerism
- Letter of Acceptance (or conditional) at a post secondary program in a recognized institute
- Email introduction of why you feel you are deserving of this scholarship.
