We are excited to welcome all returning and new players for the upcoming SPS Fuzion hockey season.
Please review all of the following information prior to registering your players at the bottom of this page. If at any time you have questions, please contact admin@spmha.ab.ca.
U13, U15, U18 Elite Hockey (AA/AAA)
Is your daughter interested in Elite Female Hockey? The Sherwood Park Kings Athletic Club runs elite AA programs for U13, U15 and U18, as well as AAA U18 for girls within the SPS Fuzion boundaries. For more information, please visit their website. If your daughter will be trying out with the Kings this coming fall, you do not need to register with SPS Fuzion at this time. Should your daughter be released from the Kings tryouts, you will need to register for SPS Fuzion at that time. As long as you register with Kings by July 14th at 11:59PM, Fuzion will honour the early-bird rate. Fees paid to SPKAC will be transferred to SPS Fuzion and any excess payments will be cancelled or refunded.
New to Fuzion This Season - Fuzion A+ Development Program
The Fuzion Female A+ Program is designed for dedicated U13, U15, and U18 players looking to play on a team with a competitive mindset. The Fuzion A+ program is the perfect bridge to AA-level competition adding high level coaching, extra development and team accountability to a strong but accessible community hockey program. - September 13th - Goalie Evaluation Session
- September 14th - Evaluations begin - specific age group dates will be noted on the registration form.

- October 4th - expected season start U9, U11 & U13

How to register:
SPS Fuzion, in conjunction with Sherwood Park Minor Hockey (SPMHA), uses TeamLinkt for registration and Team/Player management . As part of this, fee payment will only be available online via credit card. If you do not have access to a credit card, please contact the SPMHA office to arrange alternate payment. Online service fees are being absorbed by SPS Fuzion.
All the documents mentioned below are also available during the registration process, but it will be much easier if you review the following information and complete the documents ahead of time. All registrants must have created a Spordle account ahead of registering in order to obtain your Hockey Canada ID#.
RETURNING PLAYERS (Registered with SPS Fuzion or SPMHA in 2024-25):

Log into your Spordle account and confirm/update your player’s Hockey Canada ID# and contact details.

While in your Spordle account, go to "Members" and check under your child's "Qualifications" tab to ensure that your Respect in Sport – Parent certification is valid and renew if expired. You will need your valid Respect in Sport number during registration.

Fill out the Hockey Canada Medical Information Form. You will need to upload this as part of registration.

Register HERE or through the button near the bottom of this page during the priority window (June 1 – June 15) to confirm your priority spot.

After June 15, spots for returning players are no longer guaranteed and acceptance will be based on prioritization and division capacity.
NEW TO HOCKEY PLAYERS (Haven't registered anywhere before)
- Create a Spordle account and generate a Hockey Canada ID# for your child.

PLAYERS TRANSFERRING FROM ANOTHER ASSOCIATION OR NON-SANCTIONED PROGRAM
You will not be able to register with SPS Fuzion without completing a player transfer/approval as outlined below. Do not register until your player movement request has been completed and approved.
If played with Strathcona Minor Hockey last season and registering this season with SPS Fuzion, complete the:

COACH REGISTRATION **NEW THIS SEASON**
For the upcoming season, all coaching applicants must register through TeamLinkt using the Coach Registration button below. This includes both head coaches and assistant coaches at all levels. As part of the registration process, you will be asked to:
- Provide details of your coaching and playing experience.
- Confirm your current valid coaching certifications.
- Identify any required certifications (e.g., Safety, NCCP) that are expired or in need of renewal
- Confirm or submit your valid Criminal Record Check (CRC), as well as confirm submission of Intervention Record Check (IRC)
