NOTICE OF AGM

2024-2025 Executive & Board of Director Elections

The SPS Fuzion Annual General Meeting will be held online on April 18th, 2024, 7:00PM.

 

We are a community-built organization that has worked hard to bring and grow female hockey to the Strathcona County area for more than 7 years as SPS Fuzion. We have seen amazing growth in the female game here in the County and together with our partners at Sherwood Park Minor Hockey Association, Sherwood Park Kings Athletic Association and Strathcona Minor Hockey Association we are committed to continued growth.

Continued growth isn’t easy, but our Board has dedicated their time to ensure SPS Fuzion is a supportive, welcoming space for female athletes of all skills and abilities to thrive.  It is important that we continue to support our daughters to stay active and engaged in sport and to be competitive and have fun while doing it.   

This year, we have a number of Board positions up for nomination. We would ask that you consider stepping up to be a part of the growth of female hockey in the County. You will have the opportunity to have lasting impacts not only with your daughter(s) but with the hundreds of females that play hockey in our community.

Per the SPS Fuzion bylaws, all nominations for Executive & Board of Director positions must be received no later than 4:00pm on the 7th day prior to the general meeting and no further nominations will be accepted past this time. Deadline for nomination is April 11th, 2024, 4:00pm. Nominations can be sent to secretary@spsfuzion.com.
