SPS Fuzion History
SPS Fuzion was born from a simple belief: girls deserve a hockey experience built specifically for them.
As female hockey participation grew throughout Strathcona County, local volunteers and hockey leaders recognized the need for a dedicated female program that would provide opportunities from first-time skaters to highly competitive athletes. What began as a small collection of female teams has grown into one of the Edmonton region's premier female hockey pathways.
Today, SPS Fuzion proudly supports more than a dozen teams and development programs from U7 through U18, providing opportunities for hundreds of female athletes each season. Through community hockey, development camps, A+ programming, and partnerships with elite female pathways, Fuzion continues to shape the future of girls hockey in Sherwood Park and Strathcona County.
Every player who wears the Fuzion crest is part of a legacy built by athletes, coaches, volunteers, and families who believed girls hockey deserved its own place to grow.
